Xiaomi has finally unveiled its next Xiaomi 12 Smartphone series that includes three models – the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro and an Xiaomi 12x tonic. The first two models come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, while the 12X Snapdragon 870 model. The three phones wear triple rear cameras and support a fast charge. The global availability of the Xiaomi 12 series remains uncertain for the moment.
Starting with Vanilla Xiaomi 12, the phone comes with a 6.28 inch Full-HD + AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victory Protection. The screen also supports HDR10 + content for a better visualization experience. Under the hood, we get the Qualcomm Battery Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and 4,500 mAh with a fast 67W load and a 50 W wireless charging support. The chipset is associated with a 12GB 12GB RAM and 256 GB UFS 3.1 internal storage.
The Xiaomi 12 Triple Rear Camera configuration has a 50 megapixel IMX766 Sony sensor, a 13 megapixel ultra-wide lens with a 123 degree FOV and a 5 megapixel telephoto lens with 3X and OIS optical zoom. At the front, we get a 32 megapixel camera for selfies and video cats. As expected, thanks to the last Qualcomm chipset, we get the most advanced connectivity options such as 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6th, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS and USB Type-C Port. The phone works on MIUI 13 based on Android 11. The phone should start receiving Android 12 soon.
The price of Xiaomi 12 in China begins at RMB 3 699 (about 43,700 rupees) for the 8 GB + 128 GB basic variant and the 8GB + 256 GB option costs 3 999 RMB (about 47,200 rupees). The Top 12GB + 512 GB variant costs 4 399 RMB (about 52,000 rupees).
