Euphoria Season 3 is now official for the HBO hit show starring Zendaya in Rue’s main role.
“Sam, Zendaya, and the entire actor and Euphoria crew have taken season 2 to extraordinary heights, challenging the narrative convention and narrative form, while defending his heart,” announcing Francesca Orsi, executive vice president, HBO programming, in a statement that announces the Euphoria season 3 . “We cannot be more honored to work with these talented and talented wild teams, or more excited to continue our journey into season 3.”
Based on the Israeli series with the same name, Euphoria follows a group of secondary school students when they struggle to move through the world of drugs, gender, identity, trauma, social media, love, and friendship.
Ensemble Cast also includes Hunter Schafer, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Barbie Ferreira, Storm Reid, Sydney Sweeney (sharp objects), Algee Smith, Jacob Elams, Eric Dane, and Nika King. Joining the new season is Javon Walton and Dominic Fike.
Euphoria was made and written by Sam Levinson, who was also an executive that produced with Zendaya, Drake, Adel “Future” Nur, and the original creator of Ron Leshem and Daphna Levin.
Ravi Nandan, Kevin Turen, Hadas Mozes Lichtenstein, Mirit, Tovi, Yoram Mokadi, and Gary Lennon is an executive produced, with Kenneth Yu, Ashley Levinson, Harrison Kreiss, and Julio Perez served as a co-producer.
