The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power soon become Amazon Prime Video. Based on the stories of J.R.R. Tolkien and developed by J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay, the show is produced by Amazon Studios in cooperation with Tolkien Estate and Trust, Harpercollins and New Line Cinema. Payne and McKay will also serve as Showrunners.
The first season will be composed of eight episodes and a second season was officially commissioned in November 2019. Amazon then announced in August 2021 that the shooting of the coming seasons will take place in the United Kingdom.

The Lord of the Rings: Date of exit and plot
The first season of the show is scheduled for Premiere on Amazon Prime Video on September 4, 2022. However, a date of publication of the second season was not confirmed.
The show will be set thousands of years before the events of the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings. It begins during a relative period of peace and covers the main events of the second age of the earth – including the forge of the rings of power, the rise of the dark Lord Sauron, the history of the Kingdom of the island of Numenor and of the last alliance between elves and men.
Amazon bought the television rights of the Lord of the Rings in November 2017 for $ 250 million. This means that a five-season production commitment worth $ 1 billion, making it the most expensive television series ever done.
The Lord of the Rings: Casting and Trailer
Amazon Studios announced the distribution of show members in July 2021. The list includes names such as Robert Aramayo, Owain Arthur, Nazanin Boniadi, Morfydd Clark, Isamel Cruz Cordova, Markella Kavenagh, Joseph Mawle, Dylan Smith, Daniel Weyman, Maxim Baldry and others.
