Responding to a report on the tight Covid-19 steps in China, one of the founders of Twitter Jack Dorsey Tweet “End” of the Chinese Communist Party (PKC).
Mr. Dorsey slammed the CCP in response to the June 2 report from CNN’s Selina Wang who gave a display in the China “Zero Covid” strategy in Beijing, which included strict testing and search -based contact search for quarantine or isolation purposes. The report also expressed concern about supervision when Chinese authorities track the movement of people through this application.
Jack Dorsey resigned as Twitter CEO last November. Under his supervision, according to the New York Post, the social media giant cracks down on a tweeting bot account “especially in Chinese and spreads a profitable geopolitical narrative for the CCP.”
In the report, MS Wang noted that only residents deleted the COVID-19 testing and received a “green code” that was free to access public areas. He said that after more than two years of restrictions, people became frustrated. “Every part of our days is tracked and monitored. People are worried that this control is here for a long time after Covid disappears, “he added.
Meanwhile, the previous report revealed that China was the only main economy that still held fast to the zero-covid strategy with the locking of Snap and Long Quarantine. The border of this country is mostly closed since the beginning of 2020. Earlier this month, China also announced the closure of entertainment places including spa, karaoke bars and pubs.
In addition, more than 80,000 tourists were reportedly stranded in a resort city known as “Hawaii China”. On Sunday, Sanya Tourism Hotspot – a city with more than one million people on the southern island of Hainan – recorded 483 Covid cases. All flights outside the city are canceled during the weekend and tourists who want to go must test negatively in five PCR tests for seven days, said Chinese health authority.
