A restaurant owner in the UK has triggered a little laughter with social media posts about a baby named after the “favorite” Indian dish of his mother Pakora. Bringing to Facebook, a famous restaurant in Northern Ireland, Captain’s desk, announced that a customer named their baby after Indian cuisine.
However, once the post began to get an attraction on social media, the restaurant owner, Hilary Braniff, revealed that he composed the story to “bring a little joy to the industry”. With increasing costs and increasing energy bills, he said that he only wanted to share pillars and brighten people’s days, according to Belfast Live.
Sharing photos of newborn babies, the restaurant said, “Well, that’s the first! …….. Welcome to the word pakora! We can’t wait to meet you”.
This restaurant also shares photos of receipt of bills with the names of some dishes with Pakora in it. It reads, “My wife just called our newborn daughter after her favorite dish from the captain’s table … even though you want to know.”
Since shared, this news has made internet users divided. While some warm congratulations to the couple, the others only flooded the comments section with funny reactions.
A user shares photos of his two children and joking writing, “This is my children Eggroll and Watermelon”. Others said, “These are two times my teenage – Chicken and Tikka”.
The third user chimed in and said, “I should name my child’s mixed kebab on chips with garlic sauce”. The fourth added, “My parents named me were scrambled – the Popper Jalapeno my brother – I did not understand why his name was strange to some of you all.” “The mine is called the Munchy Box and Family Feast Bucket,” fifth commented.
Meanwhile, MS Braniff revealed that the original baby in the photo was his first grandson, Grace, who was born on August 24. “I just think I will post – two of my favorite things in the world are Pakora chicken and my baby’s grandchildren I think I will combine the two things for a little fun,” he said.
