Sixteen Army squaddies have been killed and 4 others injured after their automobile skidded down a steep slope close to North Sikkim on Friday. The automobile changed into a part of a 3-automobile convoy that had moved from Chatten withinside the morning in the direction of Thangu. Enroute at Zema, the automobile met with an twist of fate.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence minister Rajnath Singh condoled the lack of lives withinside the twist of fate.
